A small story of Poppy

poppy

Poppy was a young hedgehog that went for a stroll on a warm summers evening.

It was a warm, sweet –scented evening, the moon and the stars shone down on the

fields, which lay like sheets of pale silver on the hillside.

A hedgehog called Poppy jogged along the country lane between the hedges, singing

to herself her own little song of happiness.

I am happy, oh so happy, life is wonderful with so many hedges around me.

I am sheltered and no one can see me. The moon and stars shine brightly and it is so nice and warm.

I am happy, oh so happy and life is wonderful.
